This Privacy Policy explains how Omesia Bazaar ("Omesia Bazaar", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with the Omesia Bazaar website and mobile application (together, the "Services"). It applies to Customers, Vendors and visitors.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information. Each category applies only where the underlying feature is actually used — we do not claim to collect data we do not use.
- Name, email and phone number
- Profile and account data
- Customer data (orders, bookings, Get Offers requests)
- Vendor and business data (business details, Shop information)
- Product, Menu, Service and Deal content you submit
- Uploaded photos
- Shopping Orders, Food Orders and Service Bookings
- Get Offers requests and Vendor offers
- Messages sent through the Services
- Reviews and favorites
- Delivery and contact information you provide for fulfillment
- Device and app information (e.g. app version, device type)
- Authentication and session information
- Push notification tokens, where push notifications are actually used
- Security and fraud-prevention data
- Moderation and report information you submit or that concerns you
- Subscription plan metadata
- Payment metadata, once payment features are enabled

3. How we use this data
We use collected data to operate the Services, including: creating and managing accounts; enabling Shopping, Food, Services and Get Offers features; processing orders and bookings; enabling communication between Customers and Vendors; displaying reviews; providing customer support; investigating reports and enforcing our policies; maintaining security and preventing fraud; and, once enabled, processing payments and subscriptions.
5. Service providers
We may use third-party service providers for functions such as hosting, email delivery (SMTP), and — once enabled — payment processing. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including secure form handling, restricted access to configuration and credentials, and validation of submitted data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Completed transaction records may be retained for accounting or legal purposes even after an account is deleted.
8. Deletion and anonymisation
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data through our Account Deletion page or our Data Request page. Deletion requests are honored subject to legitimate retention needs such as completed transaction records, accounting or legal obligations, fraud/security records, and unresolved disputes. Where full deletion is not possible, we may anonymise data instead.
9. Your choices
You can access, correct or request deletion of your personal data using our Data Request form. You can also manage certain information directly within the app, where that functionality is available.
10. Age requirements
Use of the Services is subject to a minimum account age, described in our Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals who do not meet this requirement.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
